Once again the Clio
Amphitheater Board of Directors would like to thank you for
supporting what has been referred to as the Crown Jewel of Clio over
the years. In order to maintain our facility and make some possible
upgrades, as well as pay for the acts, it will be necessary to
charge admission this year. Our goal will be to make the
Amphitheater self supporting both now and in future years. With the
help of our advertisers, donors, and sponsors such as: Security
Credit Union, Bishop Airport, Clio Chamber of Commerce, Tacoma
Productions, we will be able to offer family entertainment in an
alcohol free environment at a very affordable cost. Season passes
for all six tribute concerts can be purchased at City Hall for
$20.00. Individual shows will cost $5.00 at the door. So in effect,
buying a season pass gets you two shows for free.
This summer's
lineup is perhaps the best yet featuring some of your favorite
tribute shows like Bob Seger, The Eagles, and
Johnny Cash as well as some new acts
with performances honoring The Beach Boys
and Jimmy Buffet. Metro Detroit's hottest show band, Persuasion,
will be back by popular demand.
In addition, we
would also like to encourage you to come back and participate in
complimentary events that have become a part of our community
tradition like the ministerial concerts on Mondays, the annual
4th of July "Family Fun Day" and the
popular Michigan Pop Idol contest. We hope to have a few surprises
along the way to showcase the city park and our great venue.
Thank you for
participating in our 2010 Summer Concert Series. We sincerely hope
you have a great experience and help spread the word by letting your
friends and neighbors know about the benefits of the Clio
